Who We Are
Celebrating our 65th anniversary in 2007, our association represents a membership comprised of builders, developers, trade contractors, service professionals and suppliers to the industry.
The residential construction industry is a major force in the Hamilton-Halton economy, generating some 18,000 jobs and contributing substantially to the federal, provincial and municipal tax bases.
Our role is to:
- Advocate for members on issues that affect our industry, ensuring that the residential construction voice is heard
- Advocate for consumers, and provide information that de-mystifies the home-building process
- Promote accessible, affordable and available new home construction
The HHHBA promotes industry excellence through its:
- Hall of Fame, which recognizes members who have made outstanding and lasting contributions to the association, the community or the industry as a whole
- Awards of Distinction, which provide a showcase for the most innovative products, sales and/or marketing efforts
